# Dictionary

`Dictionary` データベースエンジンは、設定済みのすべての [dictionary](/ja/reference/statements/create/dictionary) を読み取り専用のテーブルとして公開します。通常のテーブル構文で dictionary のデータを読み取ったり結合したりする必要があるクエリで役立ちます。

## データベースの作成

```sql theme={null}
CREATE DATABASE dictionaries
ENGINE = Dictionary;
```

## Usage

データベースを作成したら、設定済みのDictionary名をテーブル名として使用します:

```sql theme={null}
SELECT *
FROM dictionaries.products;
```

このデータベースは独自のテーブルを持ちません。テーブルとして見えるのはサーバーに設定された dictionary であるため、このデータベース内でのテーブルの作成・削除・変更はサポートされていません。dictionary 自体は [`CREATE DICTIONARY`](/ja/reference/statements/create/dictionary) またはサーバー設定で管理してください。
